Community Outreach
Here at the Growing Tree North we strive to teach the children the importance of belonging to part of a community. This is why through the year we proudly participate in many community outreach programs.
Salvation Army
Each September, the Growing Tree North starts off our school year with a Salvation Army Clothing Drive, collecting lightly used clothing for those in need.
Bryant Library Art Exhibit
Each year, the Growing Tree North's artwork is featured in the Bryant Library's children section as part of a month long Art Exhbit!
Jonathon's Gift of Love
In December, Growing Tree North families donate gifts to Jonathan's Gift Of Love, helping families in need have a happy holiday!
Veterans Day
We collect toiletries for veterans in need during Veterans day each year.
The Hop-a-thon
The MDA Hop-a-Thon is a disability awareness and educational program that helps teach children the three core values of Awareness, Acceptance and Assistance to others. The Growing Tree does it yearly and collects donations.
Community Sing-a-longs
Our Pre-K children go across the street to our neighbors at the Nursing home to sing to them at different times of the year.
